Three Little Pigs Stick Houseby ~Thricelight

Traditional Art / Paintings / Miscellaneous

Acrylic on cardboard sheets and wooden frame.

Height 160cm approx.

I was asked by my wife to construct 4 set pieces for a play she's organising at the school she teaches at. The play is an irreverent take on the Three Little Pigs.

Although they are simple enough images, the difficulty lies in the fact that they have to be big enough for 3 children to hide behind and shout out of a window, light enough for a couple of kids to carry on and off stage - where they will free-stand - and also have to be able to collapse flat on stage without killing anyone. Oh, and I only had one week to construct a Straw House, Stick House, Brick House and a Large Barn.
